Dental hygienists course is a two-year comprehensive course with a great future prospective for the candidate. The course enables the candidate with a reliable and good source of income besides offering a secured job. It is indeed a dynamic career. The candidate will work in collaboration with Dental surgeons in their operatories. They typically will spend more time with patients as compared to the dentist. Besides performing a variety of routine dental treatments like fluoridation of teeth, shooting radiographs, Oral prophylaxis, etc., they help educate the patients towards the dental diseases and their possible treatment modalities. Like other healthcare professionals, dental hygienists have to get licensed in their respective regional body after the completion of their course.

Candidate should be at least 17 years of age at the time of admission or within 31 December of the admission year and should be medically fit to pursue the course. The candidate must have passed 10+2 or two years intermediate or equivalent course thereof with Science subjects (i.e.) Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized Indian University or Pre-University/Intermediate Board.
