Oral medicine involves the diagnosis and medical management of diseases specific to orofacial tissues and of oral manifestations of systemic diseases. It further includes management of behavioural disorders and the oral and dental treatment of medically compromised patient.
Radiology of head and neck is also an integral part of this speciality which not only aids in formatting perfect diagnosis but also in assessing the prognosis.
